Alan Aldridge
Alan Aldridge was born in 1943 in London, Alan inspired and dominated the British advertising and editorial art scene during the sixties and seventies. His provocative poster for Andy Warhol film, Chelsea Girls, has become one of the most iconic pictures of that time. His retouched illustrations featured everywhere - on cover for newspapers, books, comic books, albums, posters and t-shirts.
Alan Aldridge Illustrations for The Beatles The book of lyrics took the music industry by storm and he continued to design slice covers for The Cream, The Rolling Stones and The Who.
In 2008, the Design Museum in London showed a large retrospective exhibition of Alan Aldridge's works.
