Northern Perspectives: How Anna Ósk Erlingsdottir's Roots Shaped Her Global Photography Career
Photography has always been of interest for Anna Ósk Erlingsdottir but she didn´t start photographing for real until 2005 when she was living in Sweden. In 2006 she moved to Australia to live and study Photography. Anna Ósk has an adventurous heart and her photographs have been published all over the world, in glamour magazines, photography magazines and books. One of her images hung in the National Portrait Gallery in the capital of Australia. In the last few months her work has been seen on the pages of Vogue Italia website.
Being from a small isolated island up north has given Anna the ability to see things from a different perspective.
Having this background has helped her create odd but fascinating images and the ability to control the process from concept to completion. This is what ultimately gives Anna her signature stamp and her photos a rare quality.
She has travelled widely and has previously lived in Australia, America and Norway. She now resides in Gothenburg, Sweden.
“She´s like her home country Iceland - vibrant, colourful and one of a kind”
