Milton Greene: Iconic Photographer of Marilyn Monroe and Stars of the 20th Century
Milton Greene is an American photographer (1922 - 1985). Milton worked as a film, television producer and fashion photographer. Most famous is he for his photographs of Marilyn Monroe who he was a close friend to.
Greene produced the movie Bus Stop (1956) and the Prince and Ballet Girl (1957). Monroe and Greene also collaborated on some photo sessions, including "The Black Sitting", which was chosen as one of the three most popular images of the 20th century.
Green photographed many noted personalities in the 1950s and 1960s, stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, Sammy Davis, Catherine Deneuve, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, among many others.
